A Fun Comparison...

I thought this would be a fun comparison...Pumpkin Patch 2007 versus Pumpkin Patch 2008...

Our Little Ray Of Sunshine!!

These are just a few photos that I took when Taylor found her flower headband. She put it on and said, "Pretty"...I guess she knew how darn cute she looked.

Pumpkin Patch

Saturday we ventured to the pumpkin patch in Olathe. It was an experience, to say the least...Taylor really enjoyed the pumpkin patch and was filthy by the time we left. The farm that we went to had "Pumpkin Chunkin'", which was where they launched pumpkins from catapults, cannons, and whatever man made contraptions that could get their hands on. Some of these pumpkins were launched 300 yards, which made the crowd roar. It was a warm sunny day and we all had a lot of fun.

Here is Taylor, posing for a picture. The sun was so bright, she had to squint for the photos.

Another pose...Mommy was trying different angles so she didn't have to squint.

Daddy & Taylor utilizing the farm's wagon...good thing they let us borrow it, we had 4 pumpkins, a toddler, 1 juice cup and an ice tea to carry...

Mommy & Taylor...say "Cheese."

Taylor set out to find the perfect pumpkin. She had a ball roaming through the field.

Taking a break...finding 4 perfect pumpkins is hard work.

Daddy & Taylor...still break time.

Taylor loves her wagon at home, so it made her experience to the pumpkin patch a lot of fun since she got to go for a "ride"...

Weeeeeee.......more....more!!!

Are You Ready For Some Football?!?!?!

This was last Sunday. Taylor was proud to support her local, well, somewhat local, football team...the Denver Broncos...approximately 236 miles from Montrose. Although they lost, we sure had fun in our Sunday football gear.
GO BRONCOS!!!

Pretty little girl!!

Introducing # 6, Jay Cutler...or in this case, Taylor Hoisington!!!

Taylor, say "Cheese!!!"

Checking on things outside...this is also a good view of her Cutler jersey.

Some Recent Photos That I Just Had To Share...

These are just some random photos that I couldn't resist sharing. Our little Taylor is growing so fast and becoming more and more like a little girl rather than our baby. Along with that, she is getting more of an attitude and showing less of her angel side.

I thought she looked so big in this picture.

Here, she was watching Barney waiting for Mommy & Daddy to get ready for the day.
We call this the serious pose.

Loving Barney!

Waiting patiently to go outside to play.

A Month Of Many Changes

Although this post isn't going to have any pictures included, I thought I would share all the changes that Taylor has faced the past month.

1) The pacifier...she has officially been "off" the pacifier for a month now. We kicked the habit, both at nap time and night time. YEA Taylor!!! (See posting below)

2) Taylor has been using the BIG girl potty more and more frequently. It's still a matter of catching her in the act, but I will ask her if she has to go potty, to which she responds, "Hurry! Hurry!" and runs to her potty. She has done this several times and is SO proud of herself for going potty.

3) Teeth - She now has a total of 11 teeth. It wasn't 2 weeks ago that Taylor laughed and I was able to see in the back of her mouth...she has 4 molars that we didn't even know she had. I guess the teething symptoms and nightmares are pretty mild for Taylor considering we didn't even know she was cutting all these teeth. She got a total of 7 teeth in a matter of 3 weeks.

4) High Chair - We have started using our "space saver" high chair. She loves sitting with us at meal time and is proud to be such a big girl. (See posting below)

We'll Call This....

Home grown! I love these pictures of Taylor in her overalls. I think she looks so cute and fits right in as a little country girl.

Baby blue are the color of her eyes.

Taylor loves to play with her sunglasses while she is in the house...however, trying to keep them on her while we are outside is another story.

Wah lah!!! She got them on, but I thought this picture was too cute not to share...doesn't she look disgusted?

A Day At River Bottom Park

Taylor really enjoys being outside and going to the park. We are trying to get in as many outdoor activities as we can before the snow begins to fall. The weather has been absolutely beautiful so we took advantage of another great day and headed to River Bottom Park. She loves running thru the grass, swinging, chasing the ducks and throws quite the fit when it's time to get in the car to head home. Here are a few pictures from one of our many outings to our favorite park.

Will she be a track star? She loves all the grass and the freedom of running.

Playing peek-a-boo!!!

Checking out all the commotion of the other kids and watching the dogs play in the creek...so serious.

I thought this picture was cute. She was saying "cool!"

A Day Trip To Telluride

With fall in the air and a visit from Pa Pa, we decided to take a day trip over to Telluride to look at the fall colors and see about spotting some wild life. The colors were beautiful, and the wild life was, well, we didn't see any. We took the opportunity to capture some pictures with all the color, however, Taylor was being a bit ornery and didn't smile for much. She was much more interested in chasing Pa Pa or running away from Mommy & Daddy.

Mommy & Taylor enjoying the beautiful day!

Daddy & Taylor checking out the big trees...how big? SO BIG!!!

Pa Pa & Taylor

The only "smile" we were able to capture that day...what a smirk.

Catch me if you can...hiding behind the trees that had fallen down.

An Evening Out In Montrose

Last weekend we had family night and went out for pizza. We took a few pictures before heading to town. I think our going out to eat days are just about over until Taylor is a little older. She is becoming quite loud when throwing temper tantrums in public and has also reached the stage of throwing all of her food on the floor.

So Long High Chair, Hello Big Girl Chair

I decided to give our "Space Saver" high chair a whirl and see how well Taylor could sit at the table. She has done wonderful and really enjoys sitting with us at meal time. She looks like such a big girl sitting at the table and I must say, it's much easier to clean up than her high chair was.

Taylor enjoying a snack in her new "Space Saver" high chair.

Although she doesn't look too sure in this photo, she really does enjoy sitting at the table.

Bed Time with Taylor

So, can you tell the major difference between these two pictures? You guessed it!! Taylor has officially been without her pacifier for a month now!!! I started her off by taking away her beloved paci at nap time and she did so well that I decided to try it during our night time routine. She cried the first two nights, for no more than 2 or 3 minutes and that was the end of her paci. She is such a big girl!!!

Getting ready for bed these days...yea Taylor!!!
