Just Beginning

Welcome to our new web page. One of my friend's informed me of a new way to share photos and events of Taylor as she continues to grow, our family and the sites of our new home here in Montrose. Baby Sites was a great way to start her off and since there isn't a Toddler Sites :-), I thought we'd give this a whirl.

We have officially been living in Montrose for a little over 2 months now. It's been a nice change from the hustle and bustle of the city life and I am still trying to make the transition into "country living". You know, the clothes line versus the convenient dryer and having that craving and having to decide if it's worth the time and gas to drive all the way to town for that ice cold Diet Pepsi or that fattening taco from Taco Bell. Montrose is a nice town and the surrounding areas have so much to offer. Telluride is 30 miles from our house, Ouray is 20 miles, there are countless rivers, hiking trails, camping opportunities and so much more.

We have settled into the house and things are going well. We have unbelievable views in any direction you look. The wildlife is thick and the wildflowers are blooming. It is beautiful up here and our "lodge" is officially open and accepting reservations.

Chris has settled into his new position at Polystrand as their Plastics Engineer. He is doing well and enjoys his new roll. Taylor and I are still getting used to his long hours and Chris is still getting used to his lack of sleep. There are growing rapidly and keeping Chris busy.

Taylor has officially become a toddler. I am not sure where the past 17 months has gone, but is sure has been fun. She is walking, talking and is always on the go. She enjoys books, coloring, balls, playing outdoors and has recently found a new love for baby dolls. She finally has 4 teeth, but we are still lacking the hair...ok with me since hair equals tangles and battles over brushing.

Well, thanks for checking out our new website. Be sure to check back frequently as I will continue to share photos and more.
